In many stories people see windmills in their dreams as giants.
What are your Giants?

It is better to draw them than fight them, windmills that is. In Holland they still use them to grind pigment for oil paints.

This year 2018 lets fight our giants with hope and love and prayer.

It is hard to believe that over one hundred years ago this type of art would be cursed and declared as evil.

Made fun of Monet continued to work hard to make people see the light. He wanted people to see the atmosphere. He add the girls in his painting I left them out. But this helped me to see what he was looking at.

As I painted this I tried to find the different plains in his painting. Look out at the fields next to your country area and begin to count the number of tree lines and such coming up to your self 4 or 5 maybe 6.

Keep your eyes pealed and your brushes wet.

This was a fun painting to do, fat red birds in the snow. I have been feeding the birds for lots of years. I find that my pleasure is watching and learning from them.

They fight and go after the seeds and other Items we leave for them and sometimes the other animals (rabbits and mice) also go for the seed.

In Ohio you will see the gray sky and the purple snow clouds. Also the cardinal is our state bird.

Tonight it is going to snow 2 or 3 inches. So feed the birds.

As an artist you must find the view. Every time you see a place you want to paint take minute to click a pix. Or draw a sketch of it.

Looking in the sunset or finding a spot then painting or drawing it is the fun of it.

This spot is is in Michigan early in the morning. Spring is coming to this lake and the sun is warming the day.

I want you to look around you and find a spot to draw.

The week between Christmas and New Year is a great time to review your year just past and look forward to the year ahead.

Look at all the things you painted and all the things you came through. All the pain and all the laughter.

I looked back and thought of the hospital visits and the trip to the country. The fun party in the summer with the kids. Then the painting I did and the drawings.

Now as we look ahead I see the healthy year ahead. I will be more active and do some good stuff.

Well kids paint away, keep your brushes wet and your pencils sharp.

With 2017 almost in the books what does your 2018 look like?

We opened presents, Ate, and painted. I told you so.

I have had some very nice Christmases, fun and such. This one was great because we were all there. We had our ugly sweaters on. We played goofy games and generally had a unique time.

We saw Andy's new house, and Painted!

We painted the snowman 10 big canvases.

Kids we had our brushes wet and messy, paint on everyone. Dan did you wash your shirt? I had it on my Sweater. LOL
