How original

I was painting this limb with the stormy sky thinking how Original. Well guess what knucklehead. Not even close, Monet and Van Gogh both did tree limbs and bushes with this same look.

I've heard that copying is the highest form of flattery. So men hats off to you.  I painted this picture but didn't know they had already did the pix. Later I saw both examples of the more famous paintings.

Still I had lots of fun trying to get it just right. And painting the tree bark was also fun. Adding the leaves was truly fun. Again it's textures and highlights.

Well keep your brushes wet.
