Color Explosion

Every time you paint you have a chance to mess up or be creative. As I paint more I find new and different ways to mess up. This is two roses and some daisy's. But you can see it got away from me.
And yet I like the color explosion.

As I began to blend the colors it just blew up. So... what do you do? For one thing I can stop and use gesso to blend in a blank canvas and let it dry then start over. Or I can go crazy  and splash color on the canvas like this.

Do you think that was how the first expressions or abstract artist got started? I don't know but I do know this felt good to do.

Take a canvas and try this it is freeing and enjoyable watch your color combinations.

Keep your brushes wet and go crazy.
