Ride the Wave

The sky was so bright on this day and the water so blue. The waves pushing against the sand as if trying to get her way. I just wanted to catch the breaker as it rolled to the beach.

I noticed that the lighter the water color paint was the lighter the sky could be. It all depends on how heavy your hand is with your brush. I think watercolor teaches you to be a little bit lighter in painting and brushing.

This was in Destin, Florida 2 years ago I could set out and paint and people watch all day.
