Let the clouds roll

As you paint or draw landscapes you  find you must paint the clouds for atmosphere. As the sunlight moves and the earth rolls on through space the clouds change. I like the fluffy beginnings of the cloud formation.

I suggest pick a set of clouds and lay them down because if your outside and try to chase the light you will never get your painting down.

This is the start of this light house painting you can see the under-painting. I've just started on the clouds with out the shadows under the cloud.
Keep your brushes wet and paint a cloud.
