Sometimes your feeling for a pictures truth is most of what the scene is about. Learning to draw is a skill you can learn. You just keep at it and soon you will have a nice drawing the more you push yourself the more you will improve.
The picking of brush strokes, or the pencil line is what you interpret the picture looks like. The creation of the whole project is what did I make you see as a viewer. In other words by building a line into a combination that represents a Tree.
Color is suppose to be the fun part. A dash of color here and dash of value there. But the hard part is when you try to show the view what you are seeing. Even the abstract painter fights with color. Light colors come forward, dark colors recede.
These and a few other things mastered and you will be the best artist ever! Then you got to sell the crazy thing. Ha ha !
