Van Gogh, and Jon my son, enjoy their day. They both like sunflowers. They both are excellent painters and both hard workers.
This flower provides food for both birds and other animals, as well as people. It also provides beauty in our gardens and for the artist a challenge on the canvas.
Color a canvas a neutral background. and then use the build up technique for your colors on the leaves.
With yellows showing thru as a transparent color so you will need as strong opaque under painting.
