This Is What I see

You may see fruit, but I see a painting. I know other artist as well see color and shape. They see Highlights and shadows. Reflections on the counter and light from the window.

Other artist still see the traditional, but some see the outlines and weird shapes of the fruit with bold colors.
What do you see?

For the colors I see reds and yellows and greens, but look deeper. See the blues and grays, look at the browns and tans in the counter, of course you'll see the whites but pick out the gray undertones.

Cezanne painted the flat plain of the fruit in abundance. Hundreds of paintings until he got what he saw.  He went beyond the fruit as fruit and picked up the depth of the shape and form. Then outlined it with blues and greens.

Well lets study and keep our brushes wet!
