As I see it!

I don't usually paint people. I find I have a heavy hand. This pair hit me when I saw the picture of my grand daughters. I painted this and have shown it to you three or four times but I wanted to reference the fact that photos and painting go together.

When photography first came out most painters scoffed at it, others tried to embrace it.

I painted this, which is one of three paintings I did of my girls, very loose. I dabbed the paint in an almost impressionist way. From the Picture to the canvas.

I like the light colors and the blending in the eye. It lets your mind make the leap of color in the sky and grasses as well as the girls dresses.

This is truly a case of keeping your brushes wet!
