That's Unusual

As a painter I love - no I cherish the impressionist, expressionist, and mid-eighteenth century artist. But I find myself painting in a realistic style.

I enjoy the look of the real sky and landscape. Finding the right tone and blending it to make a quality picture. Using the photo of places a I have been is a thrill as well.

The idea of plain air painting also is a great boost to my art. I have done that several times and each time I see and learn something new.
