Sunflower at the End of Season

All my sunflowers are about finished blooming and I sat down outside to paint this watercolor.

Plain air painting gives you an eye toward shadows and things you would miss in a photo. Colors are more vibrant lights are lighter and darks darker.

This painting is on my journal art pad and can be used to expand to a full sized painting.

Some of you know by now I love my sunflowers and enjoy painting them look for more coming up in the next few days.
