Days gone by!

In 1945 as WWII ended my dad and his cousin met their other cousin Casey. "I was in Northeast Michigan." Casey said, "The fishing was good and so was the hunting." Dad and Claude quickly came to the area.

I thought as a child everyone vacationed in this lovely place.

I have paint dozens of painting in and around Honor, Benzonia, and Frankfort Michigan. This was the Bestie river when the dam was in place.

I love the sky and river combination of this painting.
I remember the rocks and trees, an warm summer days and the rock bass and crappies. Sun burns and fish for dinner.

Lets paint our memories.
