Iris Watercolors

Wet into wet makes these Irises and other spring flowers pop!

I notice that I need to use middle tones, or the mid range of color to strengthen the lights and deepen the dark's.

By using a wet color or wash you can add touches of strong color and bring out the details of your painting.

This was a fun exercise, a little slap dash and add color as you go!
