A Tree in the a House?

Okay who brought a tree in the house? Then decorated it? ( No not a drunk.) Answer the Germans, they were blessing the forest spirits and the Yule log. I believe the British and the Americans added the lights and ornaments.

Mr Nash did so much with his poem " The night before Christmas " he defined the Saint Nicolas. And yes there was a St. Nick.  The Danes and many other peoples in Europe had some form of this winter Hero. He was always a man that gave away gifts or food to the children or poor.

The illustrators of the 1900's refined Santa's look by using him as an advertiser. See the Coke a Cola add of the 40's and 50's and 60's.
Norman Rockwell and his other friends used the man to place in our mind Santa and the reindeer.

Speaking of Reindeer ole' Gene Autry added my friend Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Wow all this stuff because someone brought a tree in the house? No We as a Christian nation celebrate the coming of the Christ. His birth and so much more. The painting of these Ideas helped millions of artist to have work and learn painting. Teaching the world about the Gospels.

Any way  Keep your tree wet and the same with your brushes.
