Glass is hard to do

This was so fun to do but glass is a challenge. The flowers and leaves add to this composition. The plain background pulls the subject to the forefront.

What in your life pulls you to the fore front? What is it that stirs your life up? Children? Work? Art?

Do you have a hobby? Be careful not to keep work as your hobby. Because one day when you can't work what will you do?

Glass is a challenge to paint because it is clear, and yet it is right in front of you. I tried to show the stems inside of the vase. Then the high lights on the outside of it.

Well keep your brushes wet. And paint glass.
