Mush and scrape

When I paint with water color I mush ( Is that a word? ) in the leaves and the bushes. I scrape the rocks to create texture.

The sky is truly a watercolor sky. What I mean is the sky is particles of water that come together or separate as the atmosphere moves and stirs the air.

Set and watch the sky some day, remember when you where a kid and did that? Just let the sky talk to you and then try to catch it on paper.

I like a light sky because I can then make a dark back ground. It creates more interest.

Dip in to your water, keep your brushes wet. Now lets check out the sky. Oh look a lion.
