Ohio Today

Today this is what Ohio looks like. Cold, gray and few leaves on the trees.

Birch trees are actually from Northern Ohio, lower Michigan.  But this could be any where In the west or the great north.

Once again I like the effect of the watercolor dark and light. It is such a tricky media too much water  and you have a mess or a ruined picture. But on the other hand that same water may make some thing amazing.

You need to experiment with the colors, the amount of water to use, and the kind of paper. Dry too soon and you can't make what you want leave it to wet and its mess time.

Practice is the word. Keep your brushes wet, and your pencil sharp.
