Build your Library

I try to get or take pictures of things I want to paint. This is Darby creek near North Lewisburg, Ohio.

By building a library of these pictures, or "morgue" you have a subject to paint when you want or a reference of trees and other stuff. This Idea was not mine many artist do this and enjoy a wide variety of subjects.

This day we got so many pictures of this creek and to the right of this is the Big Darby covered bridge. Covered bridges are great to paint, IF you can get the right  view.

Well kids keep your camera close and your  brushes wet. Use your pictures for reference and load up your  computer.
