My Art History

I will be posting more pictures and drawing as this blog goes forward. I hope to bring some ideas and thoughts to this forum and would love to hear your ideas as well.

Most if not all of my paintings are for sale, and contact info will be posted soon. Many paintings are gone but we'll talk about that later.

Highlights of my art education and learning curve, the teacher that made fun of the sun and moon in the same picture. ( look up in summer you'll see it!) The Volcano drawing that won the 5th grade art show. the first trip to an Art Museum in Columbus, Ohio, with of all things on exhibit hundreds of Vincent Van Gogh's drawings. Painting the sets in high school for the plays and Musicals, (45 yrs of that now) Enrolling in the Ohio State University as an art major to study and the discovery of color and most of all The Impressionist, Renoir, Degas, Monet, Manet, and the whole gang. Early art history and the more modern.

Most of all painting and drawing hundreds and hundreds of works, sketch book after sketch book.
Then doing commissions. Signs, designs, and graphics.

I have loved every minute of it, even the hard times the ones that didn't come together.  So that brings us to today
