Spring Time flowers

A couple of things happened with these paintings. First I was experimenting with  backgrounds light and dark. In order to see light expand I wanted the darker background on the right to accent the flowers.

The painting on the left shows the darker leaves and flowers against the light and dark.

I think the darker side brings out the light better. but some people also like the light they see something different.

Well  paint on and keep your brushes wet.
