Abstract realist and color

Yesterday I was showing you my Winsor & Newton pens. I continued to experiment with the pens to see what they would do. This picture is of roses and daisy with baby breath.

By using the colors as paint and dipping in to double color over color  I can add depth and shape.

It is abstract in one way and real in another. You see the rose and flowers. Yet you also see the strange shapes and colors.

So dip in and keep your  brushes and pens and pencils handy.
