Try New things

I saw at the art store this set of alcohol based pens and got them. Next I began to experiment with some pictures. I found I could draw a basic shape or picture then start to fill in ( almost like coloring) then add the pen and ink or felt pen.

The Winsor & Newton pen is the same quality as their paint.  A high standard and long time company they have some good things out there.

This is a simple design. The bridge and water with the background of trees. Add the banks and grass and 'voila you  have a picture.

I like the fact that the pens give a pastel look and by going over what was painted first you can add shadows. Of course this adds depth to your project.

Well keep your pens wet and your pencils dry.
