Finally finished

I have had this painting around for a while. I finally finished it. It is brighter and stronger yet it needs more tree color. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted. Oh sure I knew I was going to have a mountain and fall color trees. The creek was a no brain process. But more was needed.

Planning a painting is as important as the actual process. Unless you paint in an abstract or bizarre way. Lighting, shadows, and structure are all part of your composition. Bringing up the light in the right places is what makes it.

Fading in and out of the focus and creating distance is what people look for.

Keep your brushes wet and paint on.
