Tree Triangle

Every knot on a tree means something. It was a limb or banged into place. Dad call them cat faces. For an artist that is what makes it interesting.

These trees are not to far from home.  I like the triangle they make.  The sycamore is a neat tree. I has lots of character. The painting or sketching of same is exciting.

Finding the most interesting side and view is half the battle. Look at the shadows on the side of the two closest trees. Here is a low horizion and a calm sky.

Look around at your trees and sketch one.

Keep your trees calm and your brushes wet.
