See it, Draw it

Picking up the wife from the school and while waiting I saw this old barn. I could not resist the urge to draw it. The trees and brush around it accent the barn. The darks and light of the trees make an interesting composition.

The bean field in front of the barn creates distance and a depth of field.

I try  to very my strokes and scumble different shadows and leaf indications. When you are drawing try different hatch strokes and lines. It makes your  drawing more interesting.

Okay kids lets keep our brushes wet and our pencils sharp.
