Take it to the next level

I draw a lot. But if you look at the shadows the fullness of body you see a hand of the master. By finding the roundness and strength in his drawings you can learn what he sees.

Degas drew horses this way as well. The solid body and life in the model. He has taken it to the next level.

But drawing as long as Degas did you should have that quick eye.  Also one would expect to master the shape.

Look at the girls arm it looks real.
