Bird in the Tree

I keep thinking I want to capture this look. The snow covered tree with all the branches coated with texture. But other times I want to see a plane old pine tree with the most simple look.

If I was to teach this as a class I feel I would have to make it super simple. Yet I know there are many folks who could do this even better than I do. I would like to know if you are interested in lessons.

Anyway this painting took about an hour to do. The focus of the main tree was a to blend wet on wet.

I like the calm sky and the puffy clouds. The far distance with tree and scrub brush.

Keep your brushes wet and your trees snowy.
