Waves roll on

The things we count on is the waves rolling to the shore. The sun rising every morning. As artist we love to catch them on canvas or paper. I have been to Florida many times setting on the beach to witness this scene.

As you work with paint, whether it be watercolor, or oil, or Acrylic, or even quilts. you want to catch the moment. Getting the air and light is part of it, but the thing is to represent what you see. Sometimes it takes a long time to grab that moment. 

Paint what we feel and what we see. Paint what is in side of you. Paint life. Waves and sun roll on.
