What you see, What you feel

Abstract painting has a meaning, it has a feeling, and it is creative. I didn't like it for a long time . I wanted to see the tree. To see the house etc.

I want it to mean something, but I think it does. The painting is all about the brush and your feelings. what does it say to your viewer?

I did a wash for the background then used a filbert brush for the red and dark color. Later I came back with the white as an accent.

We all doodle on paper and even the past Presidents have done so. Including Pres. Eisenhower who was a very good painter.

So if it is a doodle, or abstract painting or just messing around go for it.

Keep your brushes wet and doodle on.
