Find the Texture

One of the hardest things in drawing is to find the texture. Next is to Indicate the color. If you can do that by  hatch marks and shading then you are on to quality drawings.

Our job as an artist is to lead our viewers to a point of view, let them feel what we see and feel.  This tree is one of those Items you can feel. To the shaggy bush that is the limbs and leaves.

Keep sketching, drawing, and painting. Find the center and expand on it.

Keep your  pencils sharp and your  brushes wet.
