Okay you have to have twist and turns. Things are always up or down.
So I began to look for these kinds of trees. Some are natural in the twist, others are just that style. At our Post Office in town they have a cherry tree that is a natural turned and twisted tree.
To grab these trees get your pencils and sketch them. Find the way they move and turn.
Keep you brushes wet and your pencils sharp.
