Icons and Landmarks

There is a few paintings and landmarks in the world that almost everyone has seen. This room in Arles of Van Gogh's, as he prepared for his then friend Gauguin to move in with him, is one of them. The  Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, and Monet's waterlily paintings.

( All French inspired)

I think the thing I feel the most is at first no one wanted any of these things at all! Gauguin hated the paintings Van Gogh did for him. Everyone in Paris scoffed at the Tower! Even the great gift of the Statue of Liberty was not accepted at first and took years to erect.
Proving to me do it anyway!

I would ask you to check out Van Gogh's decor'. The walls painted blue, the bed made and ready for his guest. The complement of yellows and blues with the greens and reds. Good color choice Vincent! And speaking of decor. Go to my daughter-in-laws Blog and read up on her Ideas and fun info at; www.thislittlegrayhouse.com  do it now!

Okay you did good and remember if you make, paint, or erect it the people will love it ....some day!

Dip in kids and keep your brushes wet and paint on!
