Jumped a Step or Two

We now have moved on thru the step of scumbling the gesso for the snow and I have added some grasses. The far distant trees are also brought up a little bit brighter.

I painted in the mail box and added a little bit of a fence in the lower left hand corner.

The lane pulls your eye to the cabin in the top of the painting, allowing you to visit the rest of the painting. Soon I'll put the snowman in and it will bring you back down to the rest of the project.

I may also add a tree on the right hand side for an eye stopper. Then I will also brighten the snow and add the pocket of snow in the shrubs and pine trees.

So far this has been a fun painting to do. So Lets keep the brushes wet and roll on!
