Dolphin in Blue Water

When you go to the Ocean you may see a Dolphin. We did near Panama City Beach several years ago. My wife Kathy loves to see them and I though how cool to paint one.

Well not every painting comes together like you want it to. So I will paint the blue of the ocean and be happy with that. By adding some drama to the sky or even the water with white caps you have a neat painting.

I have heard that the world is three quarters water. By looking at the Gulf of Mexico I believe it.

If you look at the the under-painting we would need for a painting of water, I see so much dark and deep undertones of color. the Aqua and Teal.  Use a white mixed blue to accent the waves.
