Reflections on Reflections

This pix was a winters day with ice and snow, but as the day warmed up to 30 degrees the reflection of the light pole was showing up in the drive way.

With pencils you can get a very cool  reflection by just wiggling the pencil on the paper. The idea was to make the drive way look wet or icy and the tree line darker.

Looking out the window on this wet and icy day was better than sitting in the snow to get the drawing. I think it is the lazy mans way to draw.

Most of my compositions I always try to keep the main subject out of the center but I wanted this as a focal point.

So everyone keep your pencils sharp and your brushes wet!
