I always would give my dad a card with "I'll do chores" as a gift. Truth be known I would have to do them anyways. Dad would sometimes during the summer leave a note, " Bud here is four gallons of paint. Paint the eves of the house and clean up. Dad"
So I was a painter at an early age. Monet I was not at that time. LOL
But it taught me a lot more than how to do something, it taught me to take care and finish something. Do it and finish it. Be ready to work.
